Do I need a fridge trailer?

A mobile cold store is now essential to comply with today's food hygiene standards in any situation concerned with food storage. Even shot game from shoots must be refrigerated within four hours and again our portable fridge trailers provide the perfect solution.

Are the trailers easy to use?

Yes! We can pre-chill & set your desired temperature for you, after that nothing needs to be done. We will site it, set it up and supply all power cables and ancillaries required.

Are the trailers secure?

Yes, all our trailers have lockable rear doors with keys provided on delivery. In addition, once set a hitch lock and wheel-clamp are added to secure the trailer.

Are the trailers insured once on hire?

Yes, insurance is included in the hire price. Our trailers are fully insured against theft, please note we cannot insure the contents of the trailer this will be the customer's responsibility. They must accept insurance liability for damage during the hire period and agree to our hire agreement to be signed on delivery of the trailer.

How is the trailer delivered?

All our trailers are delivered by 4x4 allowing access to fields and gardens if required.

How is the trailer powered?

Our trailers can be plugged into a standard mains supply via a 13amp plug or powered by a generator (min 4kva) We provide a 20m connection cable and all required plugs.

How much space does the trailer take up?

Our trailers are 4.5m long 2.5m. high and 2.5m wide. They are reasonably lightweight and manoeuvrable, however please consider we need to be able get in and out with the 4x4!

What is the minimum hire period?

We offer two day hire during the week as a minimum. Weekend hires are usually Thursday pm/Friday - Sunday pm or Monday please contact us if you have specific delivery requirements.

Do you offer long term hire rates?

Yes, long term and winter rates available. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

I’ve been quoted a cheaper price elsewhere, can you match it?

Subject to availability we will endeavour to price match any like-for-like quotation.

What if the trailer breaks down?

Our units are extremely reliable but in the unlikely event of a breakdown we have 24hr backup provided by Express Refrigeration.

Can I move the trailer myself?

The trailer must not be towed or moved without prior consent from ourselves. All units are fitted with anti-theft devices at the time of delivery. Any loss or damage to these items will be charged - Keys £5.00, wheel-clamps £70.00, Hitch Locks £40.00.

What if the door shuts while I am inside?

Don't worry there is an internal release on the inside of the door.
